Design concept of a mobile tour guide made for LaFórmula communication agency. Its main objective is to achieve a natural system that does not require initial interaction with menus and buttons, but just turn on and walk.
Decode is a digital assistant that adapts to the visitor spontaneous walk around town, explaining the history of every street that runs through and suggesting to take one direction or another, just as a friend who lives there would do.
The project comes as a counterweight to poor UX design and marketing strategy of other initiatives found in other countries. There is not still available a natural method of “tourist audio browsing” in which our steps are considered as the mouse with which we navigate through the city.
Besides providing us with this navigational modality, it suppose to do common features from other location-based guides like find close city’s finest shops, suggest new routes, or allow us to book tickets for events we encounter.
